What an unusual little machine this is. Research suggests that these vehicles were built for the Royal Navy for the purpose of onloading cargo from ships. Believed to be fitted with a Ford 1300cc crossflow engine and Ford Transit MK2 brakes, steering and gearbox. The rear axle looks to be industrial and is low geared.
